    What is the Text à T, W, S, M

  3. Ariana Depina September 28, 2010 at 4:05 pm #

What does this mean “Explain in detail using Text à T, W, S, M ” – I just finished writing the whole thing and I was going through the syllabus and I realized you added this.

Look at the information I gave to you about annotating Texts and making connections to text, world, media, etc

  4. aurora and virginia September 29, 2010 at 12:17 pm #

Do we have to look things up on websites? Obviously in MLA format you need a works cited page but since this is our opinion we can’t really cite that.

    • msgentile September 29, 2010 at 12:49 pm #

Obviously it is your opinion, but if you DO look things up to support yourself and enhance your piano, then you need a work(s) cited page.

  5. Manouska September 30, 2010 at 6:10 pm #

umm . so i think this may be an excuse but the header thing isnt working because it wont change the page number . its jus almonord 1 on all the pages . . .

    • msgentile October 11, 2010 at 1:50 pm #

      Jenna…

Doesn’t Matter. Just make sure it fits on a piece of computer paper.

For the mark-up, just make the font legible.

      Thanks and see ya tomorrow!

  13. Lisa November 30, 2010 at 9:14 pm #

    Hi Ms. G!
I was just wondering if the assignment due tomorrow is suppose to be at least 500 words. It’s a little confusing to tell because the “500:” is with the assignment due for Tuesday [today]

    Thank you!

    • msgentile November 30, 2010 at 9:16 pm #

No, that was for the journal about your object.

      Sorry for the confusion!

  14. kelsey delosh December 16, 2010 at 5:12 pm #

    hi ms.g.
i was wondering if for my section,g, current event, if i could use Mileyn cyrus’ latest…”scandals/ drug uses” as for the event. Propaganda: How and why do people follow the masses without thinking? How are people buying into the media, negative images and ideas, politics, etc?. ”

i was going to connect it to the public following her around,. her underage drinking, smoking pot to when we found out the michael fleps did the same thing. I would connect it to the negative images and ideas because we are buying into the media. Lets face it, at least once in everyone’s life, they have done some “bad” things, but why criticize certain ones? why are we allowing the media target people, when they themselves have most likely done it..
btw, u don’t have to post this, and i understand if you don’t like it.. “not school appropriate”

This article is about Bank of America joined several other financial institutions refusing to provide any other service to WikiLeaks. What is the the First Amendment of Constitution? The government should allow freedom of speech. At this time,Julian Assange is telling the truth to the world, showing us the secret of the government. However, our government pressure the financial institution to stop this organization by cutting of its supply.
The government is trying to tell the people that these people are bad guys ,they are treason and they are supposed to be driven out from this country.I think the government is afraid of WikiLeaks, beacause it is showing the truth, the truth that goes against it.The government fears that its mask will be ripped off by this organization,it fears it will collapse. However,I think that Julian Assange is a true fighter of freedom, he risks his life for truth.”There is a threat to my life. There is a threat to my staff. There are significant risks facing us.” This shows that he knows the consequences but he still insistents in fighting for truth. As result, some of people realize the significance of his works, they start to fight against the government by hacking the financial institution, because we need the truth, the world needs the truth.

    • O'Neal Mclean section A November 14, 2011 at 6:55 pm #

I agree with you all th way, most government officials have some kind of secret. And they don’t want them to get out so they try to keep people out of it the best they can. Which means having to get rid of people like Julian, and having to go against the First Constitution. Hence making them look even more guilty through some people eyes.
